Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
Today, we’ll greet you at the railway station or airport, and our journey will commence as we head towards the Sonauli border, situated approximately 95 kilometers from Gorakhpur. The route to the border is characterized by well-maintained roads that wind through the charming Tarai villages. Upon arrival at the border, we will pause for a while to complete the necessary vehicle entry permit procedures, which typically take over an hour.
Once the paperwork is sorted, our expedition continues. En route, we’ll make a stop at Lumbini, the hallowed birthplace of Lord Buddha, before resuming our course toward the picturesque lakeside city of Pokhara. Much of the journey to Pokhara unfolds amidst the breathtaking backdrop of mountainous terrain, providing captivating views of quaint mountain villages.
Upon reaching Pokhara, we’ll check into our hotel, allowing you to unwind and rejuvenate. The total travel time for this day’s adventure is estimated to be approximately 8 to 9 hours.
The Second day of our trip begins with a delicious breakfast, ensuring that we are ready for a day filled with exploration and adventure. We will kick off our day with a visit to Phewa Lake, the largest lake in Pokhara, and we will also explore the Talbarahi Temple, which is beautifully situated at the center of Phewa Lake.
Our journey continues with a visit to the Bindhyabasini Temple, one of the oldest and most revered temples in Pokhara. From there, we’ll make our way to the banks of the Seti River to take in its mesmerizing views. Next, we will proceed to Devis Falls, a unique waterfall sourced from the Pardi Khola Stream, which eventually disappears underground, creating a captivating natural wonder.
Our day’s exploration also includes a visit to the Bat Cave, Mahendra Cave, Gupteswar Mahadev Cave Temple, situated near Devis Falls, and a trip to the International Mountain Museum. Finally, we will conclude our eventful day with a relaxing evening at a hotel in Pokhara. It promises to be a day filled with natural beauty, culture, and history.
Today marks the culmination of our journey, and we are set to commence our day early to cover a substantial distance of approximately 370 kilometers. En route, our itinerary includes a visit to the Manakamana Devi Temple, also known as Manokamana, situated 105 kilometers away from Pokhara. This revered temple rests atop a mountain, and the only way to access it is by embarking on a unique cable car ride. The Manakamana cable car is celebrated as one of the longest in all of Asia. It is here that we pay our respects to Manakamana, an incarnation of Goddess Bhagwati, closely related to Devi Parvati.
After our temple visit, we will descend using the same cable car and proceed with our onward journey towards Gorakhpur, a distance of 265 kilometers from Manokamana. A brief pause of approximately 20 minutes will be observed at the border for the necessary document checks before we continue our journey towards Gorakhpur. Our final destination will be either the station or the airport, where we bid you farewell with cherished memories of your Nepal tour. From here, you can embark on your onward journey. This marks the conclusion of our trip.
